Well done to the following students who didn't medal but did the club proud.
Nick Chapman, Will Mendham, Daniel Brett, Moses Brett, Anthony Park, Elise and Dominic Ssemwanga.

There were some very brave performances on the day and it was great to see many of our students competing for the very first time come away with a medal or 2.

Although we are very pleased with the overall results with a little more luck and fewer casualties we could well have topped the medals table.

Many think Taekwon-do is for the young. They couldn’t be more wrong with 30 % of our student base over 40 years old.
We are so proud of every one of our students but if I had to single out anyone out it would be Michael Barford age 49 competing in sparring against students at black belts level less than half his age and coming home with a knock or 2, a big smile on his face and a bronze medal.

Matt Howard and Jo Anderson did Umpire duties on the day.

Our next competition will be the British Championships on November 4th.
